Analyst's Views 

U.S. Market Watch, the Dow Jones Industrial Average, which entered a correction on March 7, finished Monday’s moderately negative session a little more than 15.5% below its record closing high on Jan. 4. 

The S&P 500, which fell into a bear market on June 13 for the first time since early 2020, is down more than 20% from its record close on Jan. 3. The Nasdaq, which has been in a bear market since March 7, finished 29.25% below its peak on Nov. 19.

EARNINGS REPORTS RELEASED: Big financial firms kicked off a bumper week of earnings reports Monday. Goldman Sachs gained $7.39, or 2.5%, to $301.26 after reporting better-than-expected earnings.

Bank of America finished up 1 cent, or less than 1%, after it said second-quarter profits declined 32%. Charles Schwab, which reported second-quarter profits that rose by 42%, lost 94 cents, or 1.5%, to $61.24.

ECB Rate Hike, The European Central Bank is expected to raise interest rates for the first time in 11 years at a meeting Thursday. The region's economy is feeling the effects of the war in Ukraine and an energy crisis more acutely than other economies.

European Market, The Euromarket bourses are down by the hour with all the bourses in red. London's FTSE decreased by 0.25% to 7,204.93, Germany's DAX  retreated by 0.49% to 12,896.83 while France's CAC declined by 0.45% to 6,064.7. 

Asia Market
Asian stocks The investors' sentiments are positive and mixed across the Asian bourses. Tokyo's Nikkei 225 index increased by 0.65% to 26,961.68, China's Shanghai jumped by 0.04% to 3,279.43 while Hang Seng in Hong Kong retreated by  0.89% to 20,661.06



Cryptocurrencies, at an intraday range of $21,578.45 by the hour and a maximum of $22,958.82 in 24 hours.
