Analyst Views

Commodities, the price of U.S. West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude fell $8.03 to settle at $109.56.

The U.S. Market rally across the board after the Juneeth holiday. The S&P 500 rose to 3765 after waffling between modest losses and gains for most of the day. The Dow Jones Industrial Average also rose by 2.15 percentage point to 30530.25 and Nasdaq composite climbed by 2.51 percentile  to 11069.3.

Fed hike, Wednesday last week, the Fed hiked its key short-term interest rate by triple the usual amount for its biggest increase since 1994. It could consider another such mega-hike at its next meeting in July, but Fed Chair Jerome Powell said increases of three-quarters of a percentage point would not be common.

Powell is expected to testify before Congress on monetary policy. The testimony is scheduled for Wednesday and Thursday, which could mean more steep swings for Wall Street.

European Market, The investors' appetite is currently down with all Euro bourses negative across the board. London's FTSE declined by 1.28% to 7,060.39, Germany's DAX  slide by 0.15% to 13,145.38 while France's CAC followed suit by 1.7% to 5,863.46. 

Asia Market
Asian stocks The investors' sentiments down. Tokyo's Nikkei 225 index decreased by 0.37% to 26,149.55, China's Shanghai increased by 1.2% to 3,267.2 while Hang Seng in Hong Kong also remained flat by 2.56% to 21,008.34.



Cryptocurrencies,
 at an intraday range of $19,947.84 by the hour and a maximum of $20,715.83 in 24 hours.
