European markets, the Euro market closed the week on a positive trend while the markets awaits monetary decision by the ECB this week. London's FTSE added 0.62% to close at 7,275.95, Germany's DAX gained 0.41% to close at 15,685.86 and France's CAC rose 0.24% to close at 6,959.46. 

Asian stock markets rose Monday after Wall Street hit a new high and China promised aid to shore up economic growth. The Shanghai Composite Index rose 0.8% to 3,695.30 and the Hang Seng in Hong Kong gained 0.5% to 24,201.43. The Nikkei 225 in Tokyo advanced 0.9% to 28,696.68 after the latest quarterly Tanken survey showed stronger improvement in business conditions for service industries than expected.
