Dubai's second tallest tower, featuring a vertical mall and 7-star hotel, will be finished by 2028.

Azizi Developments is set to leave an indelible mark on Dubai's skyline, revealing plans for the city's second tallest tower. Although the tower's name remains a closely guarded secret, the Dubai-based developer has embarked on a groundbreaking construction venture valued at $1.5 billion, or about Dh5.5 billion. This substantial investment underscores Azizi Developments' commitment to contributing significantly to Dubai's architectural landscape, further solidifying its reputation as a key player in the city's development.

As the project unfolds, anticipation builds around the unveiling of this awe-inspiring addition, poised to redefine Dubai's iconic silhouette. The construction of the second tallest tower represents not just a financial commitment but a strategic move by Azizi Developments to shape the city's future and contribute to its status as a global architectural marvel.

Expected to be finalized by 2028, the tower is currently under construction opposite the World Trade Centre on Sheikh Zayed Road. Its offerings include a vertical mall, deluxe residences, and penthouses. Additionally, the tower will accommodate a 7-star hotel, an observation deck, and an array of high-end restaurants and amenities.

This tower signifies our legacy," remarked Mirwais Azizi, the originator and leader of Azizi Developments, hailing from Afghanistan. Expressing gratitude for the safety and abundant opportunities Dubai provided to his family, Azizi views this upcoming tower, set to be the second tallest, as a heartfelt way of giving back to the emirate and its remarkably hospitable people.

Dubai's current tallest structure is the 828-meter Burj Khalifa, a global landmark. To secure the position of the emirate's second tallest, Azizi needs to surpass Marina 101 at 425 meters and the recently-announced Franck Muller Aeternitas Tower, planned for Dubai Marina at 450 meters.

However, should Azizi aspire to exceed these heights and claim the title of the world's second tallest, the tower must surpass Merdeka 118, Malaysia's towering structure at 679 meters, completed in November last year. This ambitious endeavor reflects Azizi's commitment to leaving an indelible mark on the skyline and contributing to Dubai's architectural legacy.
